Promotional Cutouts

Contour-cut standees and character cutouts that mark an entrance, an activation area or a launch without taking up shelf space.

A cutout is a print-led item with a structural tail: the print does the work, but the support leg decides whether it is still standing at the end of the day.

We cut to any outline you supply, on Sunpack for durability or foam board where a lighter, flatter finish is wanted. The support is a folding leg or clip-on strut, sized so the cutout stays up in normal store traffic and light air movement.

Cutouts are foldable and easy to carry anywhere — they fold flat, travel in a normal vehicle or courier box, and go back up in minutes at the next venue.

Cutouts are usually dispatched as part of a campaign kit, so they are flat-packed with the rest of the units rather than shipped as a separate rigid item.

Frequently asked questions

How large can a cutout be?

Size is limited by sheet dimensions and by what can be transported and handled safely. Large figures are made in sections that join on site. Tell us the intended height and placement and we will advise on a practical construction.

Will the cutout stand on its own?

Yes, with the folding support leg we design for it. For entrances and high-traffic areas we recommend a wider leg or a base plate, because normal store traffic and air movement will otherwise knock a tall cutout over.

Can you cut to a character or mascot shape?

Yes — contour cutting follows whatever outline your artwork defines. Vector outlines give the cleanest cut; we can work from high-resolution images where vectors are not available.
