Countertop Display Stands
Compact units for the billing counter and counter-top space, sized for impulse products and for the narrow strip of counter a retailer is actually willing to give you.
Counter space is the most contested space in a store, so a counter unit succeeds or fails on footprint before anything else. A unit that is two centimetres too deep gets moved to the back of the counter or put away entirely.
We design counter displays around the exact pack you are selling — cell size to the pack, tray depth to the facing count, and an overall footprint that a shopkeeper will accept. Tiered layouts lift the back row so every SKU stays visible without increasing the footprint.
Print quality matters more at this size than on a floor unit, because the customer is standing thirty centimetres away. Small type, batch information and shade names have to stay legible on board.

Sizes and configuration
- Footprint set by the counter space available, not by a standard size.
- Single tray, two-tier or stepped layouts.
- Divider cells sized to the pack so stock does not topple as it is picked.
- Riser or header card height chosen so it does not obstruct the retailer's view across the counter.
Printing
- Direct UV printing on board, including inside cell walls where it is visible.
- Fine type and shade codes printed at counter-reading distance.
- Printed riser cards and shelf talkers as part of the same unit.
- Full-colour artwork worked from your supplied files.
Folding, packing and assembly
- Most counter units fold or nest flat, so a hundred units ship in a fraction of the assembled volume.
- Assembly is quick — usually fold, slot and load.
- Flat-packed units can be posted with stock consignments rather than shipped separately.
- Cell inserts can be supplied separately for refilling.
Weight and load
- Counter units usually carry light products, so the structural question is stability rather than strength.
- A tall narrow unit with stock only at the top tips easily — we weight the layout towards the base.
- Bottles and jars at the counter need cradles or holes rather than open trays.
- Tell us the weight of one pack and the facings per cell; that is enough for this category.
Placement and environment
- Indoor counter placement. Sunpack handles humid stores and occasional wipe-downs better than paper board.
Frequently asked questions
What is the smallest counter display you can make?
Small single-tray units are entirely practical — the constraint is usually the minimum order quantity that makes a print and cutting set-up worthwhile, not the size itself. Send the pack dimensions and the quantity you have in mind.
Can you divide the tray into cells for different SKUs?
Yes. Divider cells are standard on counter units and are sized to the pack so stock stays upright as customers pick from it. Tell us how many SKUs and how many facings each one needs.
Will the print look as sharp as a paper carton?
Direct UV printing on Sunpack is clean and holds fine type well, but board is not a coated paper stock and there is a visible difference in surface finish. For colour-critical or very fine artwork we recommend checking a printed sample first.
